Visit some of the UK’s top scenic attractions outside of London with Cab My Ride’s Day Tour to Stonehenge, Winchester, Windsor Castle. Starting from either London or Southampton, visit Windsor Castle, home to the British Royal Family for 900 years, for a tour of the State Apartments and 14th -Century St. George’s Chapel, one of the most beautiful examples of medieval church architecture in England and a burial place of kings and queens, including Henry VIII and his third wife, Jane Seymour. Windsor Castle is still used for state occasions and Royal reception and is the Official Residence of the Queen.

We are heading south to Winchester, Upon arrival, head to the incredible Winchester Cathedral, the resting place of many Saxon Kings, as well as King William Rufus, and the novelist Jane Austen. Soak up the impressive interior of the building, which has the longest nave in Europe and an original medieval tiled floor. Learn about the history of the cathedral, which in 1554 was used as the venue for the wedding of King Philip of Spain to the infamous ‘Bloody Mary’, also known as Queen Mary Tudor.

Continue through to the west of London, through Wiltshire to Stonehenge. Shrouded in mystery, the most ancient stone circle of Stonehenge is an incredible feat of engineering and the most important prehistoric site in England.
